TERMS OF SERVICE & OTHER DETAILS

This is my actual T.o.S. page. If after reading you still have any questions left, feel free to ask.STILL IN DEVELOPMENT. STILL.. IN DEVELOPMENT...

I. PAYMENT1.1 Payment time
1.1.1 Payment is upfront. I can only begin working on your request after full amount of money was sent.
1.1.2 Payment for a commission must be made within 3 days (72 hours) after we've finished discussing all the details. If payment wasn't sent within this time period, your request will be cancelled. Please respect others' time and only ask for paid work if you're able to pay for it. You can message me later when you have enough money, and I'll tell you if I'm open for commissions (or visit my Furaffinity page to check available slots)!
1.1.3 Payment for a YCH must be made within the period of time set in the description of that auction. It is usually 1 to 7 days. Please check the information under the desired YCH auction. If payment wasn't sent within this time period, your bid will be revoked, and the auction will be rerun, or if lower bids exist, the YCH is given to the previous bidder. (Updated on 10/11/2025)
1.1.4 Payment for an adoptable: same as for YCHes (read item 1.1.3).
1.2 Payment methods
1.2.1 Currently accepted payment methods are Boosty for bank card users and Hipolink for PayPal users. Payment process is very similar to tipping on ko-fi for both options.
1.2.2 Starting from 11/06/2023, it is required for your payment amount to be added by additional 12% to cover Boosty Agency Fee (1) / Hipolink Service Commission (2) and the commission from the Creator Fee (3) / Hipolink Fee (4) (10% and 1.7% accordingly for both sites, rounded up to 12%) Boosty and Hipolink are taking from their Authors. This means whatever commission you're paying for, you'll have to pay 12% more. For example, if your commission is $150, you'll have to send a payment of $168. Hoping for your understanding!
NOTE: THE RULE ABOVE IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO COMMISSIONS. COVERING FEES FOR THE YCHES BOUGHT FROM ME THROUGH AUCTIONS IS TOTALLY OPTIONAL AND IS JUST A WAY TO SUPPORT ME.UPDATE: as of October 2024, there's no PayPal option on any of the platforms. It's being fixed, but taking a while already. Currently only bank cards and virtual cards are accepted. Some American banks can reject your payments, so getting a virtual PayPal card is preferable.A short guide is present on the following page:
▶▶▶ HOW TO SEND PAYMENT USING BOOSTY OR HIPOLINK ◀◀◀
1.3 Payment refunds
Due to what platforms I use to accept payment, no refunds can be made at the time. Please keep that in mind before commissioning me, or joining a YCH auction of mine. (Updated on 10/11/2025)
Problems with payment
If you have trouble paying, here are some common solutions you might need to try:
>> If one of the services is not letting your payment go through, try the other one (boosty > hipo, or hipo > boosty).
>> (for both Boosty and Hipolink) separate your payment into smaller parts: try sending 50% of the needed amount and if you succeed, send the other 50%. Try not to send payments over $99 at a time if you're failing.
>> When sending payment by parts, have a few minute pauses among them.
>> Use VPN: this might help in some cases! And vice versa, disable any VPNs, proxy and similar tools if they were used.
>> Give it some time: Boosty might be having some issues at the moment you get an error, and trying to pay later may be a solution. Just let me know if you are having issues with payment and that you're gonna try again later!
>> Consider using your desktop device instead of a phone as well as different Internet browsers.
>> Try a different card of yours (if it was a bank card, try using a virtual PayPal card).

2.2.1 Unusual body types. These include:
- super masculine and brawny characters;
- obese ("fat furs") / inflated characters who can be perceived as fetish characters.

2.2.2 NSFW art. No genitals and nipples, sexual intercourse, masturbating allowed in my art.
2.2.3 Gore art and violence:

(The list will updated as I catch myself on something new)
These are:
- feral characters (I don't really mind drawing ferals actually);
- mecha characters;
- weapons (I'm not good at drawing guns but why not give it a try);
- stickers, ref sheets, expression sheets — anything with several drawings of one character.

Terms of Service

Updated on 10/11/2025.I have the right to publish any of my finished art as well as WiP screenshots and speedpaint videos of it online. However, if you really don't want me to post a commission done for you, please tell me upfront.I have the right to delete any of my finished art as well as WiP screenshots and speedpaint videos of it from any of my platforms, provided that the buyer of art, be it a commission or a YCH, has received the finished piece in original quality and confirmed it was saved (downloaded) by them to their device.

Extremely important: if you commission art of more than one character, you must confirm and/or prove you own both (all) of them, or that the person (people) owning the other character(s) has (have) agreed to have their character or sona drawn by me. If you really want to make a surprise for the other person (people) and can't let them know of the commissioned piece upfront, do make sure your art idea is appropriate and won't disturb or upset the other character's(s') owner(s). I have the right to decline your commission idea/cancel your YCH if it contains a sensitive idea that might need approval from both sides, or if I consider your proofs not trustworthy. Sensitive topics, for example, can be romantic relationship between characters depicted in the artwork, or anything considered intimate, erotic.
> Your proof of ownership can look like a signature of the artist who designed the character/made the ref sheet for you (like «Designed by Artist, owned by Client Name» written on the reference sheet). It can also be a forwarded message from the original artist confirming you own the character. In case you are the artist of your character's ref sheet/their art, you should also be able prove that.
The next part applies to every person whose character is requested by you to be included in an artwork of mine.
> Confirmation from the owner(s) of other character(s) can be either a forwarded part of your chat where you 1) notify the person that their character is going to be included in an art piece from me, 2) specify what idea and roles are going to be used in the idea (share the YCH sketch you got from me, or describe your commission idea, featuring that person's character, to them) and 3) them responding to you, giving their consent and full approval for the artwork to be made and for the final result to be posted online on my social media pages.
> If you end up lying to me, trying to convince me the other person won't mind the artwork featuring their character, while in reality they know nothing about it/didn't give their consent but you hid their response, I will blacklist you and prohibit you from commissioning me and interacting with me forever. The artwork in question is going to be deleted from my social media pages, or never posted if I get contacted by the other person before the finished piece is posted. Please respect others' opinion and desires.

You must always credit me if you're reuploading my art (for example, to show it on your social media profile). Simply use my username: hophwind.
Each piece I make is for personal use only. You are allowed to crop a commission done FOR YOU if you wanna set it as your pfp somewhere. You are allowed to print my art done FOR YOU on anything you want (paper, clothes, covers, etc.).You are NOT allowed to photoshop (any editing included, like cropping or changing colors) and post my art edited by you, trace or steal it (i.e. credit yourself as the artist). Reuploads without crediting are prohibited.

Details

Here are some details I'd wanna mention.

Updated on 10/11/2025.References from you. Those are required for both regular commissions and YCHes: poses, lighting, camera angle, facial expressions, outfits and different objects.
> SFW/NSFW: I accept both SFW and NSFW art for referencing. Porn art should be avoided from sending to me, but naked drawings in a reference sheet or art showing genitals and nipples are both okay.
> AI images: I accept AI generated images as references but only if they are used as examples of composition, lighting, or camera angle in case you can't find pictures/existing art conveying your idea well enough. No copying/deep referencing.
> Photos: absolutely fine, can be pictures taken by you or downloaded from the Internet.
> Sketches/doodles made by you: another good way to be precise in sharing your art idea with me.
> Others' artwork: OK for inspiration, or slight referencing, but I don't like copying anybody's ideas, or even my own ideas.
> Text description: works for poses, nature, weather, object designs (patterns on stuff, colors of objects). I do not accept full text descriptions of characters.
Deadlines. The default deadline is based on commission's type and complexity (read here for more details). You'll be notified if for some reason I have to delay the delivery of your commission.Pricing. While colored linearts can have no price change at all, scene commissions get more expensive with difficult requests.
The price is under my subjective evaluation since I'm the one to work on others' ideas.
You won't be charged extra in the process until you want to get an extra version of the commission that has drawn by hand additions (but versions with background on/off, alt color tones, alt cropping and anything I won't have to draw is free).Paid additions include: alt clothes for a character, a whole different background, alt shadings, alt items the character is interacting with, etc. Adding some simple things like birds in the sky or sunglasses on a character's face is free until there are too many "simple things". :)Simple maths on characters number.
- Lineart commissions: 1 character is the basic price, 2 characters is multiplying the basic price by 2, three is multiplying it by 3 and so on.
- Scene commissions, however, have a starting price of both character and background together, so any extra character adds +$X to the basic price (for example $Y + $X + $X = $Y+2X for a scene commission with three characters).

Please don't forget about the extra 12% you will have to pay for any type of work except YCHes (read more at 1.2.2 of my T.o.S. here: link).

Edits. Modifying finished art is not easy so there's info about what I can edit for free and on which stages, for every type of commission. If you get to ask for paid edits, they will be a few dollars only, maybe just a couple. I always try making the sketch perfect so there are no further modifications needed. Don't be afraid to tell me to edit something if needed, tho.

Image properties and sent files. The files you'll get along the process. These are...
• For colored linearts: sketch JPG + colored lineart JPG or PNG (just sometimes) + shaded colored lineart PNG (the final result) + slightly compressed JPEG file of the final result (if needed, used to bypass upload size on some websites).
• For scene commissions: sketch JPG or PNG (depending on file size: PNG 1-9 MB, JPG 10 MB+) + an interim version (PNG or JPG) + final result (with background and shadings) PNG + compressed JPG.
Default DPI for any type of commission is 300. If you need it higher or lower, please tell me before I start working on your comm.You can as well get your commission as a BMP or TIFF file by request.PSD/CLIP files are never posted anywhere and are not meant to be sent to my clients.

How to request a commission

This is a memo describing what you can do to make our interaction nice and easy going. You don't specifically need to follow all the steps in case you want to leave something up to me (but since I've mentioned them they might be important to me).

1. Ways to contact me:— Send me a friend request and then DM me on Discord: hophwind (preferred!)
— Send me a note on Furaffinity (direct link) (also preferred!)
— DM me on Twitter (link)
— Send me a note on DeviantArt (direct link)
— Send me a message on Boosty (direct link). Don't forget to change the «Who can send me messages» option in Privacy settings to «All users» so that I can respond to your message.

2. (for Furaffinity and DeviantArt notes, skip if Discord is used) Use something obvious for your message subject, like «Commission request» or just «Comm» - that'll be enough!

3. In your message, describe all the details you can as of the moment:
commission type, cropping and number of characters: lineart (portrait, halfbody) or scene (portrait, halfbody). For example, «A landscape scene commission of two characters, high detail background, full character render»; «A lineart portrait of my oc», etc. Learn more about comm types of mine.your character(s): their reference sheet or a few drawings of them, or if they don't have colored drawings, attach their color palette separately as an image file or as hex color code. Check this for accepted reference types.your character's (characters') outfit(s): you can either describe them with words or send me reference images.your idea: tell me about your idea for the commission, try to describe it as detailed as possible; for example, include time of day (for scene comms), character's(s') emotions/facial expressions, their pose or movements, and don't forget about the clothes (if present)! Make sure to describe the background you wanna see if you've decided to request a scene commission. For other commissions, you can just choose the background color I should use.
Reference images are highly appreciated - they'll help both of us get to the point where we see the same image in our minds.

After I get your message, I'll provide you with some extra questions if I have any and then name the price.Please tell me if you're leaving anything to my liking instead of ignoring my questions. :p
